Mature-age recruits Troy Chaplin and Sam Lonergan have been included in Richmond’s 27-man squad for Saturday afternoon’s third round pre-season competition clash with Hawthorn at Launceston.

Chaplin, who joined the Tigers last October as a restricted free agent, after a 140-game career at Port Adelaide, and Lonergan, who was the Club’s second selection in the December rookie draft, following a 79-game career at Essendon, have both recovered from the injury problems that had interrupted their pre-season preparation.

Richmond also has been strengthened by the return of captain Trent Cotchin, vice-captain Brett Deledio, No. 1 ruckman Ivan Maric, talented, young midfielder Reece Conca, and gun small defender Steven Morris.
