Richmond VFL has confirmed its side to take on the Sydney Swans at the Swinburne Centre on Sunday afternoon.

After conquering the reigning premier Gold Coast Suns on their home deck, the VFL Tigers will return to the Swinburne Centre for their first home game of the 2024 Smithy’s VFL Season.

From last week’s win against the Suns, the side will gain three names at home including AFL-listed Matthew Coulthard and vice-captain Joel Garner, who will play his first match in the Yellow and Black alongside Liam George.

Joel Garner, 24, is a utility that has a wealth of experience at AFL level with Port Adelaide, and with the Footscray Bulldogs at VFL level. Most recently, Garner took home Chaney Medal for best afield in last month's NTFL Grand Final, where he played for St Mary's.

Liam George is another Eastern Ranges product, who impressed over the pre-season with his skill and poise.

The first bounce is set for 12:05pm at the Swinburne Centre.

The match will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
