Injury Report: Round 2
High Performance Manager Ben Serpell gives an update ahead of the Round 2 match against Port Adelaide.
“It was a good result from the boys and certainly very exciting, but nothing to get ahead of ourselves at the moment,” Serpell said.
“The boys were back in at 9am the next morning getting some rehab done, which was great.
“We were treated with an appearance by some of the women coming down to help with the rehab session for some of our boys.
“Really appreciative of Shelby Knoll, Charley Ryan, Katie Brennan and Mon Conti, jumping in with the likes of Josh Smillie and Noah Balta the next day.”
All eyes now turn to Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
“As teams, we can do a bit better by travelling together and coming together as a group. Being a bit more excited this week after the win, it should be pretty good.”

Josh Smillie

“He’s looking around one to two weeks and hopefully get into a bit of footy this week again."

“They’re tracking well in rehab. There’s no real change to their return-to-play."
“Between them, they’re both two-to-five weeks away. We’ll see them hopefully in a few drills over the coming weeks."
Jonty Faull
Back, Test
“Jonty’s an exciting one. He got to play a bit of VFL on the weekend on limited game time."
“We’ll progress his game time over the next couple of weeks and see him having some impact as the season progresses."
Jacob Blight
Adductor, Test
“He slipped in back play and got a little bit of adductor soreness. He’ll be a test for this weekend and hopefully gets through his cramping and we’ll be right.”
