Richmond midfielder Kane McAuliffe has been handed a fine by the MRO after an incident during the Round 12 clash against GWS.

During the fourth quarter, McAuliffe was charged with careless conduct with an umpire.

It is his second offence, resulting in a $3,125 fine. That can be reduced to $1,875 if he accepts an early plea.

Richmond now look ahead to their Round 13 clash against Sydney at the MCG, before the bye.
