Five Tigers have been recognised in the Round 12 AFL Coaches' votes.

Dion Prestia, Jacob Hopper, Tim Taranto, Toby Nankervis and Ben Miller all scored in the votes, with their efforts against GWS at ENGIE Stadium noticed.

Prestia, who returned to the senior side for the first time in 2025, dominated from the first minute, earning nine coaches votes for his team-high 31 disposals and seven clearances.

Following closely behind was Hopper, who received eight coaches votes for his 29 disposals and goal against his old side.

Taranto earned five votes, after his 23 touches and two goals.

Nankervis received two votes following his dominant rucking performance, while defender Ben Miller also received one vote, after keeping Jesse Hogan goalless for the first time since Round 16, 2023.

Each week of the season, the two senior coaches vote on the best players in their respective match, giving 5-4-3-2-1. The maximum votes a player can get is 10 votes a week.

The overall league winner at the end of the season will be crowned the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
