Tim Taranto has received a perfect 10 AFL Coaches' votes for his performance during Richmond's nine-point win over Essendon on Saturday night.
He makes up six Richmond players who also collected votes in the Club's MCG victory.
Jacob Hopper (four votes) was the second-highest vote-getter, alongside 250-gamer Nick Vlastuin (three votes) and Jayden Short (three votes).
Tom Brown and Dion Prestia received one vote each.
Taranto was a standout, leading with a game-high 34 disposals, four clearances and a goal. Hopper was also prominent, with 27 disposals and five clearances of his own.
Brown recorded 23 disposals, a game-high and AFL career-high 11 marks, an equal game-high/career-high eight rebound-50s, equal career-high six score involvements, team-high nine intercepts and 491 metres gained.
In his 250th, Vlastuin had 23 disposals, eight marks and six intercepts, while Short had 25 disposals, 497 metres gained and 19 kicks, and Prestia collected 28 disposals.
Each week of the season, the two senior coaches vote on the best players in their respective match, giving 5-4-3-2-1. The maximum votes a player can get is 10 votes a week.
The overall league winner at the end of the season will be crowned the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
