Four huge additions have been made to Richmond's VFL side for Sunday's home-and-away season finale against Williamstown.
A trio of AFL-listed Tigers make an exciting return, with Jasper Alger, Liam Fawcett and Oliver Hayes-Brown named in the team.
It will be Fawcett's first game since he sustained a syndesmosis injury in late June, Hayes-Brown returns from a hamstring issue that has held him out since late July, while it is Alger's first game since the Round 21 AFL game against Collingwood.
Sam Phillips is also back, after being a late out last week.
Coming out of the side is Tom Sims who is out for the season with an elbow injury, Jacob Blight due to an ankle injury, Sam Grlj as he returns to his Coates Talent League commitments and Steely Green, who will be an emergency for the AFL game in Hobart.
While Richmond is guaranteed to be playing beyond this week, whether it makes the Wildcard or advance directly to the Finals remains to be seen. The Tigers can jump into the top six, depending on other results this weekend, and will know exactly what they need to do before the bounce of the ball on Sunday.
The first bounce at DSV Stadium is set for 2:05pm this Sunday.
All matches in the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
