Nick Vlastuin’s second-placing in the 2025 Jack Dyer Medal underlined his top-class consistency within Richmond’s line-up.
It was the second successive year that Vlastuin had finished runner-up in the Club’s Best and Fairest award.
The Tigers’ star triple premiership defender has had five top-five Jack Dyer finishes in the past seven years – second in 2025, 2024, third in 2020, and fourth in both 2023 and 2019.
In the other two seasons within that time frame – 2021 and 2022 – Vlastuin missed a combined total of 17 games through injury.
All-up, he has had eight top-10 placings in Richmond’s Best and Fairest throughout his 13 seasons of AFL football.
And although Vlastuin is yet to win a Jack Dyer Medal, or be awarded an All-Australian blazer, his capacity to maintain such a high level of performance over the course of his 255-game career so far at Tigerland, places him as one of the competition’s most consistent performers.
