Richmond’s recruitment of three exciting, young players from South Australia in the 2025 AFL national draft – Sam Cumming, Zane Peucker and Noah Roberts-Thomson – further enhances the Club’s history in the City of Churches.

The Tigers now have more players on their current list from SA than any other state (apart from Victoria), with Cumming, Peucker and Roberts-Thomson joining Kane McAuliffe and Liam Fawcett.

Throughout my time as a Yellow and Black barracker, there have been many talented South Australian footballers who have made the move to Victoria to play for Richmond.

Here is a team of SA-Tigers that I’ve compiled, which features several Richmond premiership players, club leading goalkicker award winners and a Jack Dyer Medallist.
