Richmond's exciting regeneration journey will continue in the 2026 season, with the Club's playing list one of the youngest in the AFL.
After the Tigers added more talent to their already impressive young core this off-season, Richmond will enter the 2026 campaign with the third-youngest list in the league, in both average age (23.8) and average games played (58.7).
The only two teams with younger and lesser experienced lists are Essendon (second youngest and second least experienced), and West Coast (youngest and least experienced).
The Tigers have 29 players with less than 50 games played, equal with the Eagles as the youngest profile in the entire competition.
Richmond added four prospects via the national draft this year (Sam Cumming, Sam Grlj, Zane Peucker and Noah Roberts-Thomson), with speedy youngster Patrick Retschko becoming a Tiger during the trade period.
Nine Tigers enter 2026 with more than 100 games played, with Nick Vlastuin the most, on 255.
