Richmond has secured selection No. 38 overall in next week’s AFLW National Draft following a trade with Adelaide today.
In exchange, midfielder Grace Egan has departed the Club and will join the Crows.
Egan played 43 AFLW matches with Richmond across four seasons after being traded from Carlton. She was an important member of the Club’s finals campaigns in Season 7 and 2024.
The Shepparton product had previously spent time in Richmond’s women’s program (VFLW) before being a first-round selection to Carlton.
Richmond AFLW List and Recruiting Manager, Trent Mosbey, thanked Egan for her contribution to the Club.
“We thank Grace for everything she has given to Richmond,” he said.
“She has played a big part at the Club across both our formative years in the VFLW competition and in the last four seasons as a regular contributor in our AFLW team.
“We wish her all the best for her new opportunity at Adelaide.”
Richmond now holds selections 1, 38, 40, and 56 at Monday’s AFLW National Draft.
