Kamdyn McIntosh

Dual Richmond premiership player Kamdyn McIntosh has returned to the Club in a newly created role as Past Players Liaison.

As part of the role, McIntosh will directly support Richmond’s Past Players Engagement Plan, integrating former AFL and AFLW players into the current Club.

McIntosh will attend games both at the MCG and interstate as part of the off-field role, as well as working on enhancing existing engagement and connection networks among past players.

McIntosh will act as a key link between the current playing group and past players, attending training sessions and camps, hosting former players, and strengthening the way Club culture is passed down through the generations.

Richmond CEO Shane Dunne said that the Club places immense value on its history and the people who built it, with McIntosh’s role to ensure relationships can continue to flourish.

“As part of our 2030 Strategy, the Club identified the need to build a Past Players Engagement Plan, with a focus on creating a deeper connection with our past AFL and AFLW players,” he said.

“In developing this plan, we have appointed Kamdyn to be a go-to connection between the Club and our former AFL and AFLW players.

“Kamdyn’s role will be to help past players stay engaged and feel recognised as a part of the Richmond community.

“We all know the great Richmond person Kamdyn is, and the contribution he made to our culture and recent success.

“He was a great teammate across his 13-year career and will continue to be in his new role. We cannot think of a better person for the job.”
