Richmond has made three changes to its team for Saturday's clash against the West Coast Eagles.

Defender Jayden Short, ruckman Oliver Hayes-Brown and midfielder Tyler Sonsie have all been added to the team, replacing Hugo Ralphsmith (injured), Sam Lalor (injured) and Samson Ryan (omitted).

Tim Taranto has been ruled out of the game as he hasn’t fully recovered from his concussion.

Taranto suffered a concussion in Round 6 against North Melbourne, which saw him miss last week’s Anzac Day Eve game.

Taranto’s health and wellbeing is the Club’s number one priority, and he will continue to be monitored as he works through the concussion protocols.

The backline is made up of Nick Vlastuin, Ben Miller, Noah Balta, Nathan Broad, Short and Sam Grlj.

Patrick Retschko will start on the wing, alongside Kane McAuliffe, with Dion Prestia in the centre. Hayes-Brown takes the spot in the ruck, alongside followers Jack Ross and Jacob Hopper.

Seth Campbell, Sam Cumming, Steely Green, Jonty Faull, Sonsie and Tom Lynch make up the forward line.

The interchange consists of James Trezise, Tom Burton, Tom Brown, Campbell Gray and Mykelti Lefau.

Noah Roberts-Thomson, Luke Trainor and Ryan are the emergencies.

Richmond takes on West Coast on Saturday at Optus Stadium from 4.15pm (AEST).
