Noah Balta

Noah Balta has taken home the perfect 10 AFL Coaches' Association votes, following his standout performance in Richmond's 11-point win over West Coast in WA.

The key defender turned his focus to playing a dominant role in the ruck and up forward at Optus Stadium, amassing an impressive 20 disposals, 18 contested possessions and six clearances, to go along with his three goals.

Joining Balta in the votes is acting skipper Jack Ross, who collected five votes after he stood tall and led through the middle.

Ross notched up 29 touches and a whopping 11 clearances, as well as 19 contested possessions and three score involvements.

Super goal sneak Seth Campbell was handed four votes, after his stellar output that saw him kick three majors, including the match-sealer late in the final term.

Campbell also had 17 touches and laid five tackles.

Up-and-coming midfielder Kane McAuliffe was also in the votes, collecting four from the coaches, following his 28-disposal, four-clearance game.

Each week of the season, the two senior coaches vote on the best players in their respective match, giving 5-4-3-2-1. The maximum votes a player can get is 10 votes a week.

The overall league winner at the end of the season will be crowned the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
