And, to further enhance his value to the Tigers’ team, he hit the scoreboard in impressive style, kicking three goals.

That equalled his AFL career-high total for a match of three goals, which he previously scored in Round 19 of the 2017 season against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium.

Nankervis was Richmond’s equal leading goalkicker last Thursday night against the Blues, alongside Tom Lynch and Jack Higgins.

It was the continuation of Nankervis’ good work on the goalkicking front that he displayed throughout the pre-season JLT Community series.

Nankervis booted three goals in JLT1 v Melbourne at Shepparton, and then one goal against Hawthorn at University of Tasmania Stadium, Launceston, in JLT2.
