Richmond premiership-winning forward/midfielder Josh Caddy will make his return to the field in tonight’s VFL season opener against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.

After overcoming ankle soreness, Caddy will line-up on a half-forward flank for the VFL Tigers, at a venue where he has 25 games of senior experience.

Developing tall defender Ben Miller will also return to the VFL Tigers outfit having recovered from appendicitis.

The 19-year-old’s inclusion comes at a good time, with Ryan Garthwaite and Noah Balta elevated to senior duty on Saturday against GWS.

The VFL Tigers recorded three wins out of their four practice matches in the build-up to tonight’s Round 1 clash with the Cats.
