Richmond's VFL side has been named for their opening home game of the 2019 season against Port Melbourne at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval on Saturday morning.

After missing a week with a corked calf, Jake Aarts returns to the team for the first time since booting four goals against Collingwood in the final practice match.

The match will also be Aarts' 50th game for Richmond VFL.

Oleg Markov, Daniel Butler and Ryan Garthwaite have been named to return to the team after dropping back from senior duty against GWS last Saturday.

VFL Tiger mainstays Blake Grewar and Shaun Mannagh will also make their first official outings of the season after being named in the squad.

The VFL Tigers started the season off in impressive fashion, kicking six final-term goals to defeat Geelong by 14 points on their home deck.

The match at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval starts at 11am, and entry is free for 2019 Richmond members.

A live video stream of the match will also be available via the VFL website, vfl.com.au from 11am.
