In a Richmond Media mid-season special series, recently retired Yellow and Black premiership hero Shaun Grigg is assessing the progress of the Tigers’ 2019 AFL debutants.

Today, he turns his attention to quality young, big-bodied midfielder Jack Ross. Here’s what ‘Grigga’ has to say about him . . .

“He’s very good . . . sort of a similar mould to ‘Fridge’ (Jack) Graham – big body, very hard at it, straight-down- the-line type of kid. And he’s creative with his hands and has nice skills.

“He works hard and he’s got a big future.

“I’d like to check his birth certificate – I don’t think he’s 18 or 19.

“He plays like a 25-year old and he’s got a good, calm head on his shoulders.

“I could see him being a future leader at the Club at this early stage.”
