Richmond superstar Dustin Martin will return to the Tigers’ line-up for Sunday afternoon’s big match against West Coast at the MCG.

The midfielder, who missed last Sunday’s win over Carlton through general soreness, will be a welcome return for the Round 22 clash against the reigning premiers.

"[Martin] was a bit touch-and-go last week, but the amount of work he's put into training this week, there was always going to be an easy decision to make, so we look forward to welcoming him back," senior coach Damien Hardwick said this morning.

Ruckman Ivan Soldo has also been brought into the side to replace Toby Nankervis, who on Friday was withdrawn from the Tigers’ extended squad with soreness.

The Eagles match will mark Soldo’s 10th senior appearance this year. After playing six consecutive games, the 23-year-old was omitted from last Sunday’s side to make way for Nankervis’ return.

Soldo had a successful outing at VFL level last weekend, collecting 25 hit-outs, four clearances, six spoils and a goal.

First-year talent Sydney Stack has been omitted from the side.

Richmond’s four emergencies for the Eagles clash are Stack, Jake Aarts, Marlion Pickett and Noah Balta.

Sunday’s match at the 'G kicks off at 1.10pm.
