A quartet of talented Tigers have been named in the 40-man 2019 Virgin Australia AFL All Australian squad released on Monday.

Star midfielder Dustin Martin will be hoping to receive his fourth consecutive All Australian jacket, while inside midfielder Dion Prestia and defensive duo Bachar Houli and Dylan Grimes will be vying for their first ever selection.

Twenty squad members are in contention to be a first-time All Australian, while nine players are in line for back-to-back inclusions in the team.

The All Australian squad has been selected by Gillon McLachlan (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Danny Frawley, Steve Hocking, Glen Jakovich, Chris Johnson, Cameron Ling, Matthew Richardson and Warren Tredrea.

The final 22 will be revealed on Wednesday evening.
