Richmond forward Seth Campbell has been charged by the MRO following an incident during Sunday's clash against Euro-Yroke at Marvel Stadium.

Campbell was charged with careless contact with an umpire (first offence) during the first quarter.

It has resulted in a $1,500 fine, which can be reduced to $1,000 with an early plea.

Richmond takes on Essendon in Friday night's Dreamtime at the 'G clash at 7.45pm (AEST) at the MCG.
