Richmond midfielder Jack Ross has been charged by the MRO following an incident during Friday night's Dreamtime at the 'G clash.

Ross was charged with engaging in a melee/wrestle (first offence) in the fourth quarter of Richmond's win over Essendon at the MCG.

It has resulted in a $1,500 fine, which can be reduced to $1,000 with an early plea.

Richmond takes on Sydney at the SCG next Saturday from 1.15pm (AEST).
