Richmond's newest draftee, Kye Annand, will be on the plane to Sydney for the Tigers' VFL clash against the Swans on Saturday.

Annand was taken with pick two in the mid-season draft on Tuesday night, joining the Club from Geelong's VFL program.

The 200-centimetre defender has been a standout for Geelong across the backline, a position he moved to after spending time previously as a ruck/forward in the Cats program and at local level for Ocean Grove and Geelong West Football Clubs.

The new recruit is joined by Hugo Ralphsmith in the VFL inclusions, who returns after a stint on the sidelines working through his MCL injury suffered earlier in the season.

Tom Burton returns to the VFL, alongside Sam Philp, as the final of four additions.

The quartet replace Kane Loftus (omitted), Ry Cantwell (omitted), Liam Fawcett (AFL) and Tom Sims (MCL).

The backline is made up of Annand, vice-captain Mutaz El Nour, Kaleb Smith, captain Lachlan Street, Leo Connolly and Tom McKenzie.

Ralpshsmith makes up the centreline, alongside Harry Scott and Sam Toner. Samson Ryan takes his spot in the ruck, with vice-captain Joel Garner and Nick Collier named as the followers.

Philp, Burton, Liam George, Caleb Nancarrow, Mohammed Yassine and Josh Pollocks make up the forward line.

On the interchange is Zaydyn Lockwood, Aaron Sharkie, Sean Lai, Olli Hotton and Kai Stewart.

The emergencies are Loftus, Cantwell, James Milner, JayDe Varlet and Sam Phillips.

The Round 10 clash is set for 10:00am (AEST) this Saturday, with the game to be broadcast on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports, or live streamed on the AFL website.
