UPDATE, Tuesday 10:30am: Richmond advises it has accepted the early plea on Hugo Ralphsmith’s charge. He will serve a two-match suspension.
EARLIER: Richmond midfielder Hugo Ralphsmith has been charged for an incident during Saturday's VFL game against Sydney.
Ralphsmith was charged with striking against Sydney's Max Geddes in the second quarter. The incident has been graded as intentional, medium impact and high contact.
It has resulted in a three-match suspension, which can be reduced to a two-match suspension with an early plea.
Richmond has until Tuesday morning to elect to accept or contest the charge.
