Taj Hotton

The Tigers VFL side will make their second interstate trip of the season, heading to Launceston to take on Tasmania on Saturday.

Headlining the additions will be top 2024 draftee Taj Hotton, who will pull on the Richmond jumper for the first time at any level since the final round of the 2025 AFL season.

Hotton, who played the final seven games of the Tigers' 2025 campaign, has been sidelined since late February due to bone stress in his hip, following his comeback from a knee reconstruction that kept him off the park until late last season.

The 2024 pick, No.12 will be joined by 2025 draftee Zane Peucker in Launceston.

Hotton will also line up for the first time alongside his older brother Olli, who has played nine VFL matches since joining the Richmond VFL side in 2026.

Peucker will play his first game since Round 3 against St Kilda in the VFL, after overcoming his syndesmosis injury.

Noah Roberts-Thomson also returns to the VFL side.

The trio replace Hugo Ralphsmith (suspension), Caleb Nancarrow (omitted) and Kye Annand (AFL debut).

The backline is made up of vice-captain Joel Garner, Zaydyn Lockwood, fellow vice-captain Mutaz El Nour, Nick Collier, Leo Connolly and Kaleb Smith.

Liam George makes up the centreline, alongside Harry Scott and Sam Philp. Samson Ryan takes his spot in the ruck, with brother Olli and Taj Hotton named as the followers.

Roberts-Thomson, Tom Burton, Peucker, Josh Pollocks, Mohammed Yassine and Sam Toner make up the forward line.

On the interchange are Aaron Sharkie, Tom McKenzie, Sean Lai, skipper Lachlan Street and Kai Stewart.

The emergencies are Nancarrow and James Milner.
