Zane Peucker

Richmond goal sneak Zane Peucker is set to light up the MCG, making his AFL debut in the yellow and black against Melbourne this Sunday.

The Woodville West-Torrens forward/midfielder was selected by Richmond with pick 31 at the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft, and has slotted in at Tigerland with ease.

Since joining the Club at the end of 2025, the 18-year-old has impressed with his goal sense and speed in the forward 50.

Peucker has played seven VFL matches, kicking seven goals and averaging 15.4 disposals.

He missed a period of football mid-season due to a foot setback that didn't see him return to VFL level until Round 12 against Tasmania.

The small forward stood tall in Richmond VFL's Round 13 clash against North Melbourne, kicking a goal to go with his 19 disposals. Earlier in the season, he starred, booting three majors against Coburg in Round 3.

Before joining Richmond, Peucker was a dominant force for the Eagles U/18s in 2025, averaging 25 disposals, 1.5 goals, and 5.5 score involvements per game.

He becomes Richmond’s eighth debutant this season, joining Sam Cumming, Sam Grlj and Noah Roberts-Thomson from his draft class, as well as Oliver Hayes-Brown, Tom Burton, Patrick Retschko and Kye Annand.

Peucker will debut against Melbourne at the MCG this Sunday from 3.15pm (AEST).
