Following consultation with the Club’s medical staff, Richmond can provide the below return to play update ahead of next Saturday night's AFLW season opener.
Ellie McKenzie, Arm, TBC
Ellie McKenzie has had surgery on her arm following the fractured ulnar that she suffered playing for Australia against Ireland.
We will have a clearer picture of her timeline next week, but as mentioned on Sunday, we expect that she will miss the early rounds.
Dana East, Ankle, Round 2-3
Dana East unfortunately suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s match simulation against Hawthorn.
Scans have cleared her of significant damage, but we will still have to wait and see how it settles. At the moment we expect she will be unavailable for somewhere between three and four weeks.
