Following consultation with the Club’s medical staff, Richmond can provide the below update for Round 1 of the AFLW season.
This health update is brought to you by nib. With nib, life could be potentially amazing.
Dana East: Ankle, Test
East presented post the Hawthorn practice match with a right ankle injury. She has done a great body of work to get that ankle ready to go.
We will look to have her ready for selection in Round 1. If not, she will be available in Round 2.
Sarah Hosking: Hamstring, Round 4-6
Coming off the trip to Fremantle, Hosking suffered a hamstring strain. She presented back to the Club in a good way. Post assessment, she has started running and we will continue to build up her loads.
We will look to have her available around Round 4 to 6.
Paige Scott: Ankle, Round 6-7
They fortunately ran for the first time in a number of weeks recently. We are confident we can build them into an aggressive loading period and get them available for selection in Round 6 or 7.
Ellie McKenzie: Arm, Round 4-5
McKenzie has had surgery, and we will look to move her pretty quickly to be available for Round 4 or 5, once she has been cleared to return by the surgeon.
Zoe Hargreaves: ACL, Round 5-7
In the final progressions of Hargreaves's ACL return, we suffered a setback with her knee. This will delay her a little bit.
However, she is now back involved in the football program. We will look to have her available in Round 5 to 7.
Montana McKinnon: ACL, Round 5-7
McKinnon is tracking incredibly well. She has integrated fully into the football program, achieving her final tick-offs.
She is going to be available between Round 5 and 7.
