In a scrappy affair, St Kilda prevailed over Richmond by 49 points at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

It was still a day of celebrations for the Tigers, with two key triple premiership heroes - Nathan Broad and Dion Prestia - playing their final game for the Club in front of the Tiger Army.

The duo received cheers from the Tigers faithful all afternoon, Prestia finishing the match with a team-high 27 disposals and Nathan Broad went forward in the last five minutes of the game in an attempt to hit the scoreboard.

It was also Tom Lynch's 250th game, with the key forward booting a goal and collecting six disposals.

Richmond fans weren't overly impressed with the free kick count, cheering every time a Tiger was awarded a penalty, St Kilda finishing the match with 10 more frees than its counterparts.

After kicking just four points in the third term while St Kilda added four goals, Richmond saved some face in the final quarter, levelling with the Saints in kicking three goals apiece.

The Tigers will lick their wounds and reset for their final home-and-away match for the 2026 season against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium next Saturday night.
