Debutant Fina Dethlefsen's stellar first AFLW match against the Bulldogs has just got better, with the high-flyer nominated for the Round 2 AFLW Mark of the Week.

During the fourth term of Saturday's clash against the Dogs at Whitten Oval, Dethlefsen rose to the occasion, leaping over her opponent and bringing the mark into her hands in the second grab.

It was an impressive contested mark in her debut game, showing off the aerial ability that the 22-year-old has been praised for in the pre-season by coaches and teammates.

Dethlefsen is up against West Coast's Charlotte Riggs and Darcy Vescio from Carlton for this week's Mark of the Week, with the winner going into the running for AFLW Mark of the Year, which will be announced at season's end.
