Richmond has nabbed nominations for both of the AFLW Round 3 Mark and Goal of the Week, after two stellar showings by a Tigers duo on Sunday night.

The pair, who stood tall in Richmond's five-point win over Essendon, now both go into the running to win the Goal and Mark of the Week for this round, which would then place them in the running for the yearly award.

Richmond ruck Poppy Kelly took a scintillating one-handed grab in the fourth term of Dreamtime in Darwin, which had the crowd impressed.

Poppy Kelly reels in an incredible one-handed mark and hangs on to it in humid conditions.

A soaring kick in from veteran Tiger Katie Brennan landed in Kelly's hands - or one hand rather - as she competed in front of a crashing pack, spinning around and bringing the ball to ground in her possession.

Meantime, it was a sensational Sierra Grieves snap in the third quarter that got the competition talking, as Richmond continued its magnificent comeback against the Bombers.

To level the scores deep in the third term, Mackenzie Ford booted the ball inside-50 from the wing, where it was crumbed on the boundary line, and snapped truly by Grieves on the run.

Kelly is up against Port Adelaide's Matilda Scholz and Collingwood's Ash Centra for this week's Mark of the Week, with the winner going into the running for AFLW Mark of the Year, which will be announced at season's end.

Grieves is competing against Geelong's Aishling Moloney and Hawthorn's Jasmine Fleming for this week's Goal of the Week, with the winner going into the running for AFLW Goal of the Year, which will be announced at season's end.
