Richmond's Montana McKinnon has had her one-match ban upheld by the AFLW tribunal, with the defender set to miss the Round 6 clash against GWS this Sunday.
The defender was initially handed a one-match suspension for rough conduct on St Kilda's Jesse Tawhiao-Wardlaw during last weekend's Round 5 clash.
McKinnon was cited by the MRO for the incident that occurred during the third quarter of Richmond's match at Windy Hill.Â
The action towards Tawhia-Wardlaw was originally graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.Â
She will be unavailable for selection against GWS this weekend.
Richmond will travel to Canberra this weekend to take on the Giants at Corroboree Group Oval Manuka on Sunday.Â
