Richmond duo Aoibhin Cleary and Gabby Seymour clinched Goal and Mark of the Week nominations for their outstanding passages of play during the Tigers' thrilling win in Canberra over the weekend.
Speedster forward Cleary channelled her Gaelic football roots with a classy sidestep to leave her opponent in the rear-view mirror.
Cleary finished the play with a darting run forward, deep in the pocket where she slotted it on the right boot from a tough angle, kicking a miraculous goal.
On the other end of the field, it was Seymour who worked her magic in the air, taking a captain's mark in the dying stages of the game.
Seymour’s courage was on full display as she stood tall for her side when a high-flying ball entered Richmond’s defensive 50. She leapt over a pack of players to crash the contest and pull down a game-saving mark.
The co-captain had a day out as a forward, kicking three goals to go with her 15 disposals.
