Richmond midfielder Reece Conca makes his long-awaited return to the field for this Sunday’s VFL match against Port Melbourne at the ME Centre.

Conca has been on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, and will be nursed back to full fitness through the VFL.

Also returning to the squad this week is exciting rookie Jason Castagna, who showed strong signs as a rebounding defender earlier this season, before suffering an ankle injury.

The Tigers named an extended squad, including all players named on the interchange bench for the AFL match between Richmond and St Kilda on Sunday.

Both squads will be trimmed when the teams are finalised at 5pm on Friday.

Richmond’s VFL team has won two games in-a-row, including a solid 24-point victory over the Northern Blues last week.

Port Melbourne, ninth on the VFL ladder with a 6-5 record, has lost its last two matches.

This Sunday’s game kicks off at 1pm, and will conclude at approximately 3:35pm, giving fans enough time to travel to Etihad Stadium for the AFL match.

There are trains leaving Richmond station, heading towards Southern Cross station, at 3:39pm, 3:43pm, 3:49pm, 3:53pm, 3:59pm and 4:03pm.

Live audio coverage of the VFL match can be heard via Richmond VFL Radio.  Simply download the official Richmond app, and search for ‘VFL Radio’ in the menu.
