The Richmond Football Club is mourning the tragic loss of former coach, Danny Frawley.

The Club extends its deepest sympathies to Frawley’s family and loved ones this evening.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear of the loss of a wonderful man who coached our great club,” Richmond President, Peggy O’Neal AO said.

“On behalf of the Club, I send our sincere condolences to his wife Anita, and their three daughters Chelsea, Keeley and Danielle during this incredibly difficult time.”

“He was a much loved person, and he will be dearly missed, and affectionately remembered.”

Following a decorated playing career at the St Kilda Football Club, Frawley coached the Tigers in 113 games from 2000 – 2004, including a preliminary final in his second season.
