Richmond has regained the services of ruckman Toby Nankervis for Saturday night’s big qualifying final clash against Brisbane at the Gabba.

The Tigers will welcome Nankervis back into their line-up after he missed the final two rounds of the home and away season through groin soreness related to an adductor injury sustained in Round 8.

The 25-year-old was the hero in the VFL Tigers’ qualifying final win over Essendon last Saturday, collecting 33 hit-outs, 22 disposals and booting the winning goal.

He will pair up with Ivan Solo as the Tigers’ ruck duo, following Soldo’s strong form in recent weeks filling Richmond’s No. 1 ruck role in Nankervis’ absence.

Making way for Nankervis is Noah Balta, who has been omitted.

Richmond’s four emergencies for the qualifying final are Daniel Butler, Jack Ross, Mabior Chol and Marlion Pickett.
