Richmond VFL will kickstart its finals campaign on Saturday afternoon when it hosts Essendon in a qualifying final at the Swinburne Centre.

After securing the minor premiership for the second year in a row, Richmond will face the fourth-placed Bombers from 2.10pm at Tigerland.

The two sides will face off for the third time this season, after the Tigers secured the win in their Round 8 and Round 20 encounters.

As the Tigers were scheduled a bye in the final round of the home and away season this weekend, the qualifying final will be their second meeting in a row with the Bombers. Essendon will come into the clash off the back of a 41-point Round 21 loss to Geelong.

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7.

Pre-sale tickets will be available to help fans avoid any possible queues on game day.

Tickets to Saturday’s game will be available here.

Tickets are adults $15, concession/pensioners $10 and kids under 15 free.
