Richmond has a long and proud history, with a strong sense of community, and a relentless commitment to innovation.

True to this commitment, the Club is currently considering the opportunity to partner with Bendigo Bank to establish a new way of banking for the Richmond Football Club community.

The model is simple. Based on Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank® model, if Richmond members, supporters, players and staff, switch their banking (personal or business) over to Bendigo Bank through the Bendigo Bank and Richmond initiative, the profits are returned to nominated Richmond Football Club community projects and programs.

This ensures that the returns benefit players, staff, and Club members, and allows the Club to invest in creating social and economic impact for the community.

Knowing that the Club will be able to choose how the profits are used is an appealing model.

As part of the process, it is important that our valued members and supporters are provided the opportunity to share their input. Therefore, providing a chance to shape one of Richmond’s future partnerships.

To make sure that this is the right project for the Club and to understand whether the initiative should be pursued, it’s important that a wide range of members complete the survey.

To have your say, please visit bendigobank.com.au/richmondfc and complete the survey by Monday 20 May.
