Richmond has announced a new partnership with OtterBox, as the Club’s shorts partner for the next two seasons.
The global phone case giant recently expanded its product range to include rugged outdoor products, and will feature on both the AFL and VFL teams’ match-day shorts for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
Having already aligned with the Club as a digital partner in 2017, this new deal is an expanded commitment to the Tigers by the Colorado-based company.
The brand will also have match-day presence in Richmond’s change rooms, and interact with the Tiger Army through in-stadium giveaways. A follow-up to last year’s popular “Defensive plays of the game” online video series will also return in 2019.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said he was delighted for OtterBox to broaden their commitment to the Club after just 12 months of partnership.
“It’s always exciting to introduce both the Richmond Football Club and the game of Australian football to a new, international partner, and to see them have a really positive experience with our great game.
“We look forward to working with OtterBox over the next two years at least, and watching our players run out for Round 1 with their yellow and black logo on their uniforms.”
Otter Products’ Asia-Pacific Head of Marketing, Sean Murphy, said he couldn’t wait for the start of the new season.
