RICHMOND and Adelaide will head into Friday night's clash unchanged as the Tigers look to extend their dominant MCG streak.

Damien Hardwick's men are aiming for their 17th straight win at the ground which would equal Melbourne's all-time record from 1955-56.

But the Crows will be hell-bent on finishing the run as their finals hopes hang on a knife's edge.

It would take a turnaround from the side at the venue, given Adelaide hasn't defeated Richmond at the MCG since round 11, 2008, when Neil Craig was coach.

But they are getting closer to their strongest available line-up, with midfielder Rory Sloane returning last week and important forward Tom Lynch back from injury for the match.

Corey Ellis, the Tigers' first-round draft pick in 2014, is in the side for just his third game of the season.
