In the lead-up to Richmond’s first-ever match for premiership points in Hobart, against North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena on Saturday, Tony Greenberg turns selector, to name his best team of talented Tasmanians to have played for the Tigers . . .

These have been the finest products emanating from Tasmania over the years – not necessarily in the aforementioned order.

For the sake of the exercise, I’ll focus on those Tasmanian players who have made the move across Bass Strait to directly, or indirectly (ie via another league club) represent Richmond in the best football competition in the land.
