Richmond’s AFLW side will be tested against a fellow expansion club on Sunday afternoon when it hosts West Coast in an official practice match.

With just two weeks until the season opener against Carlton, the clash at the Swinburne Centre will be the Tigers' final competitive hit-out before Round 1.

A 23-strong squad has been named for the game, including all four members of Richmond's recently-named leadership group in Katie Brennan, Christina Bernardi, Phoebe Monahan and Lauren Tesoriero.

The outing will mark Tesoriero’s highly anticipated return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained last June.

Richmond’s first ever draft selection, Sophie Molan, will run out in the Yellow and Black alongside fellow draftees Laura McClelland, Ella Wood, Sarah Sansonetti, Holly Whitford, Emma Horne and Ciara Fitzgerald.

The Tigers will look to build on the experience they gained in last Saturday’s match simulation session against the Western Bulldogs.

Tiger fans can follow live updates from the Swinburne Centre via the Richmond Women's Twitter and Instagram accounts.
