Higgins once again showcased his knack for finding the big sticks, this time from the boundary at a tricky angle, off one step.

His goal came in the second quarter of Thursday night's Round 1 win over Carlton at the MCG, one of three snags by the second-year player.

Riewoldt's mark arrived in the third quarter of his milestone match.

Perfectly timing his grab from a clever Daniel Rioli snap, jumping Jack got the ride on Carlton key defender Liam Jones, flying high before landing on his feet then cooly converting.
