1. Fire up early

There has been a trend of slow starts following the restart of the AFL season. With sides looking to find new ways to get energy levels up, it’s never been more important to start well with shortened quarters making it difficult to play catch up footy.

2. Marvel home-factor

The Saints will look to bounce back on their home ground, Marvel Stadium. The quicker ground suits the Saints new recruits in Brad Hill, Zak Jones and Dan Butler, who are all fleet of foot.

3. Emphasis on Pressure

The Tigers will look to impose themselves on the contest. Following a lapse in the Tigers' renowned pressure in last week’s game against the Hawks, expect Richmond’s midfield to force long balls to our in-form intercepting defenders in Grimes, Astbury and Vlastuin.
