Richmond has added seven players to its squad for Sunday afternoon’s match against Melbourne at the MCG.

The Tigers will make at least three changes to their Round 5 side, with David Astbury to miss the clash through injury, and Jack Ross and Sydney Stack both omitted.

Silky small forward Jake Aarts is a chance to make his AFL debut this Sunday, which would make him the Tigers’ first debutant of 2020.

Ruckman/forward Mabior Chol is in line to play his first AFL game since Round 22, 2019 after a standout five-goal performance in the reserves last week.

Young defensive pair Noah Balta and Ryan Garthwaite have also been named for a potential recall in place of Astbury.

Daniel Rioli, Jack Graham and Marlion Pickett, who were all omitted from last weekend’s match against St Kilda, are also in the mix to make their senior return.

Richmond will finalise its Round 5 line-up on Friday at 5pm.
