No. 8 - Brett Deledio
Round 7, fourth quarter v Sydney at the MCG

Brett Deledio’s long-range set shot against the Swans at the MCG capped one of the most memorable matches for the Tigers this season.

With Richmond leading by 26 points with 12 minutes remaining, Deledio received a free kick inside 50, and a chance to put the result beyond doubt.

His attempt from 40m out missed to the left, but he intercepted the kick-in from the Swans to give himself another opportunity.

Deledio backed his judgment, put behind him the disappointment of the previous kick and delivered with a 60m drop punt before being mobbed by team-mates.
