Mature-age Richmond recruit Jake Aarts continues to showcase his ability to hit the scoreboard at the game’s highest level.
The tenacious, industrious small forward was the equal-leading goalkicker on the ground in the Tigers’ win against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval with two goals.
It was the fifth time in 13 appearances in his debut season of AFL football that Aarts has scored multiple goals.
Overall, the 25-year-old has kicked 14 goals, at an impressive average for a small forward of 1.1 per game.
Aarts also impressed in yesterday’s final home-and-away round clash of the 2020 season with his hard, two-way running and defensive pressure.
