A quartet of talented, young Richmond players provided some brightness on an otherwise bleak night for the Tigers in their Round 7 loss to the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.

Liam Baker, Noah Balta, Jack Ross and Sydney Stack, with a combined total of just 22 AFL games between them, were among Richmond’s best players in the 47-point defeat.

Baker, in his seventh game, finished the match with 18 disposals, six marks, five inside-50s, six tackles, five score involvements and one goal.

Balta, in his sixth game, had 11 disposals, three inside-50s, took five marks and kicked a dazzling running goal.

Ross, in his fourth game, had 15 disposals, five inside-50s, four clearances, three tackles and kicked a goal (his first in AFL football).

Stack, in his fifth game, had 19 disposals, three inside-50s, six intercepts, four tackles, four score involvements, two goal assists, kicked a goal and took seven marks.
