Richmond will open the 2021 season, with the AFL today confirming the Round 1 fixture.
The Tigers will return to the MCG for their traditional Round 1 clash with the Blues on Thursday, March 18 (7.25pm).
The back-to-back reigning premiers will look to welcome their loyal fans back to the MCG, with the opportunity to unfurl both the 2019 and 2020 premiership flags.
Richmond is scheduled to face Western Bulldogs (February 27, Lavington Sportsground) and Adelaide (March 7, Flinders University Stadium) in the lead-up to Round 1 as part of the AFL’s 2021 Community Series.

The next five rounds of the 2021 fixture will be finalised before Christmas.
