Richmond has made two changes to its line-up for tomorrow night’s important clash against St Kilda.

Kamdyn McIntosh will return, having missed the mandatory 12 days through concussion, while Daniel Rioli has been rewarded for a strong display against Werribee at VFL level last Friday.

McIntosh, who finished fifth in the Jack Dyer Medal last year, is an important inclusion for the Tigers, with his running power and defensive ability crucial on the wing.

Rioli who had 17 disposals and six tackles in a VFL practice match last week will also have an important role to play as the Tigers chase a third win for the season.

“Daniel plays a really specific role that does not require him to get 15 kicks and three goals,” coach Damien Hardwick told reporters this week.

“What it is, it is very mentally draining for him to play that role week in, week out. Sometimes he needs to go back just to freshen up and find the footy a little bit for his own peace of mind.

"He plays a really specific role, and he plays it very, very well. There is a reason he has those (three) premiership medals.”

Coming out of last week’s team is Will Martyn and Jack Ross, who have been omitted, while Josh Caddy will play in the VFL this week after being an unused medical substitute against Port Adelaide.

Hugo Ralphsmith, Ross, Callum Coleman-Jones, and Maurice Rioli Junior have been named emergencies.

Richmond will confirm which player steps into the 23 to serve as the medical substitute 60 minutes before tomorrow’s opening bounce.

Tomorrow night’s game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, FOX FOOTY, and Kayo.
